No, It didn't show the body thank goodness, just LE spreading a white sheet over it. The sheet looked small, but that's JMO.

2 hours behind us Matilda. After looking at that footage that you posted I do not think that body has been there for five days. It would have been spotted long before now.

Can you direct me to a link for that?
I ask because it was my understanding that dogs got a weak hit trailing Jessica's route to her own school but LE felt it was probably from a previous day.
I had not read that dogs trailed anywhere from where the backpack was found.
I cannot locate anything in MSM.
I read about the bloodhound following a trail from the backpack to Superior Elementary School and back in an earlier thread on here. It was in Thread #1 - Post #744 when it was first mentioned, and Nursebeeme added it to the map.

Read comment about another attempted abduction in Arvada, Co earlier this year. Any Arvada locals have a ms media link?

michellemarls actually posted that footage so she deserves the credit. I just watched the video footage on GMA and it looks like a small body. I'll try and post it here when it's posted on their site.

Bouncing off of your post, about the 'open'. LE said in an article on 10/8 that I reposted upthread that they were concentrating on 'open spaces' in a certain area (bordered by US 36, CO 93, and CO 128: http://www.coloradodaily.com/ci_217...-space-areas?source=most_viewed#axzz28ksn3C1k).
I take back my thought that it was the surveillance of a suspect that led them there: I think there was something in the backpack. A note or some other clue, because that's when they changed the focus of the search.
Very heavyhearted this morning.

I just pray that this monster left something behind that will help the police find him.

The Pollice are not confirming anything. There is a news conference at 7.30am. Is that shortly? Excuse my ignorance but i live in the UK, and have no idea what time it is the US.
Im a Texan, and you are 6 hours ahead of me, so if its 730 here, would be around 130 for you
hope this helps

October 11, 2012 (ARVADA, Colo.) -- A body has been found in the case of a missing Colorado girl, and multiple police sources are telling ABC News that it is the 10-year-old's body.

I am worried about this turning out like Nevaeh. They found her bidy quickly, and it seemed that there must be evidence enough to find her killer and yet her case still remains unsolved.
If this is Jessica I am so sad for her family. My 9 1/2 yo is sitting across the room from me eatig her breakfast and I cannot imagine losing her. The thought of her being assaulted and dumped makes me feel like throwing up. This is the best age; so sweet and innocent and yet wise beyond her years and so much fun to be around. I am sure that Jessica was the same way. Prayers for Jessica's family and friends. Their loss is immeasurable.

The press is still camped out near where the body was found. But not as close as they were last night.
